The Individual will be a part of the Cloud Operations Team focused on our Voice of Customer Business Unit. The team is responsible for maintaining 24 x 7 production environments hosted in US, EU, Canada and Australia. The team participates effectively in SaaS incident management processes, in maintaining product service-level agreements (SLA), and in delivering a high-level of systems and networking availability and redundancy.
In what areas will you perform?
Facilitating proactive measures to ensure systems availability
Maintenance of production, DR, and UAT instances
Monitoring of production systems from availability/performance/stability point of view
Participate in incident management remediation, lead and work to resolve ongoing related issues/crisis.
Work closely with other peers, managers and team leaders in SaaS Operations/R&D/QA and other customer facing teams
Working closely with SaaS Security Operations to implement security standards, including vulnerability management
Work with the Compliance and Risk Management teams to determine applicable compliance requirements and work to ensure full compliance
Assist in the planning, designing, and implementation of new SaaS initiatives
Contribute to and maintain systems standards as they relate to configuration management, hardening, and security
Maintains data environment and monitors systems to ensure data integrity & availability
Handle and maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information
Keep a keen eye on expenses, and locating areas where cost savings are possible without affecting service delivery
Help maintain a clean, automated, up-to-date systems inventory
Develop concise, detailed documentation for new and existing environments
Build/maintain strong relationships with vendors (Software and cloud provider)
Leveraging key technical resources to architect scalable solutions, using industry best practice
- Identify, highlight and if possible resolve issues - otherwise escalate issues to senior team members.
Work with Product Management to understand requirements, and what benefits they give to the product
Ensure stakeholders understand feature design (at the necessary level of detail)
Identify and interact with stakeholders to make sure their needs are being met by the feature design
Maintain communication with stakeholders and ensure changes to any previously agreed solutions are communicated
Ensure that feature design is right for deployment and sustainment, not only the right one for operations.
Maintain a dialogue with relevant stakeholders on the status, progress and future of features; loosely understand evolutionary paths
Help provide information to resolve disputes and make tradeoffs
Report daily progress of your tasks to your manager.
Provide appropriate and regular communication to all relevant parties.
Provide regular updates about self-development and learning needs to mentor / line manager.

5+ years’ experience in hosting and/or production data center operations;
Knowledge of various general Internet technologies, (e.g. HTTP, TCP/IP, Web Servers, Load balancing, databases, etc)
Strong scripting experience (for automation, tooling and tuning);
Proven ability to develop architectures that incorporate high availability, operations supportability and scalability is mission critical; an end-to-end perspective
Experience with DNS, IP and Certificate management
SQL administrative skills (MSSQL, MySQL and/or Postgres);
Elasticsearch administration skills;
Expertise with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), User Interface (UI) and Mobile Architectures is highly desired; experience with Data and Globalization would be helpful
Excellent written and spoken communication skills;
Sense of teamwork and good interpersonal skills;
Successful completion of Verint background screening process
Specific Qualifications & Accreditations
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
